Photos: Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort Room
We recently stayed at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, so let’s do a room tour!

We stayed in Room 5318 on the night of August 15, 2025. This room is located on the 3rd floor of Building 5, Center Court. Other details:
- We paid $148.50 including tax using the Florida Resident Discount.
- A new reservation for the same standard room on the night of September 26, 2025 is currently priced at $239.49 with no discounts.
- Sleeps up to 4 adults
- 1 Queen-size bed, 1 Queen-size Table Bed
- A sliding door separates the bathroom vanity and the bedroom
- Tub/shower
Many guests with small children prefer a room with a tub like the one we had. The updated TouringPlans Room Finder can help identify which Walt Disney World resort rooms have a “shower only” and no tub. You can read the full post explaining the updates here.
The All-Star Sports refurbishment that was completed in 2023 resulted in some great storage upgrades, like the shelving you can see in the bathroom vanity picture above. Check out the photo below for a shot of an All-Star Sports vanity area in 2022.

The additional storage extends to the bedroom. There is a shelf and counter for food and beverage items as well as coffee and tea supplies.
- Cuisinart 2-cup coffee maker
- Disposable coffee and water cups, 8 1-cup pouches of Joffrey’s Resort Blend Dark Roast Coffee, 8 individual tea bags, individual creamer, sugar, and sugar substitute.
- Ice bucket
- Beverage cooler
A note about beverage coolers. TouringPlans Subscribers (Liners) have been commenting on the app’s chat feature recently about the phasing out of real refrigerators in standard Walt Disney World hotel rooms. It’s important to note that unless you’re staying in a room that has an actual refrigerator listed, you’ll have a beverage cooler. These coolers will not be suitable to safely store things like medication that requires refrigeration.
The sticker on the front of the cooler above says “Beverage cooler cools to 41 degrees and above.” This means you should not store food that needs to be refrigerated, including breast milk. You are also not allowed to bring your own mini-freezer or mini-fridge to your Walt Disney World resort room. You may request a food-safe refrigerator at check-in, but it is not guaranteed, so you should make other plans. Bell Services may be able to store your freezer packs if you need them, but this is also not a guarantee.
First Aid in each Park will provide you with ice packs free of charge if you need to carry something with you that needs to stay cold – think meds and breast milk here, not a Twix bar, although they really are better cold. Additionally, First Aid will store your medication in their facility if it needs to be kept cold. Finally, there are ice machines at every single Disney Resort, but you cannot bring loose ice in a cooler into the Parks. The ice machines should help with food storage in your room, though.

All-Star Sports does not have water or Skyliner transportation options, but they do have frequent buses to the parks and Disney Springs. The graphic above shows the average travel time by Disney bus from All-Star Sports to the listed location. The TouringPlans website has this information for all Disney World Resorts.

All-Star Sports has two pools – the Surfboard Bay Pool, which is the largest, and the Grand Slam Leisure Pool, which is located in the center of Buildings 7-10. There is a kiddie pool just steps from the Surfboard Bay Pool, too. Keep in mind that the Surfboard Bay and kiddie pools will be closed for refurbishment from January 2026 to April 2026. Disney’s website states that “Guests are welcome to use the other pools throughout Disney’s All-Star Resorts, including the Calypso Pool, Piano Pool, and kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort; and the Fantasia Pool, Duck Pond Pool, and kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort.”

All-Star Sports is part of Disney’s Value Resort collection. You’re not going to have fireworks views and all of your food is going to come from the End Zone Food Court, but it’s a great place for a budget-friendly way to stay in the bubble.
What are your thoughts about All-Star Sports? What about the other All-Star Resorts? Do you usually book resorts in this category, or are you happier in a Moderate or Deluxe?
My first stay at all star sport was in July and I was surprisingly pleased with the resort. Rooms are almost equal as the Pop rooms and the bus drive was really fast once you’re on the buses (less than 10 min to AK, 15 min to DHS and Epcot). I knew food would be just ok so I was fine with the food court. At 99$/night, no regrets!
