PHOTOS: New at Amorette’s, Themed Cakes for Toy Story and Imagination Pink

The most visually engaging desserts at Walt Disney World continue to come from Amorette’s Patisserie at Disney Springs. New this week are two more Toy Story 4 themed cakes and an Imagination Pink chocolate-covered strawberry.

First the strawberry – I mean, look how incredibly gorgeous this thing is, with the sparkling petals in Disney’s new seasonal Imagination Pink color. The fondant petals are chewy and have a slight fruity flavor. We’re assuming the flavor is strawberry, but we just tasted “fruit.” The chocolate-covered strawberry inside is as perfect as you would want it to be.

The two other new Amorette’s additions both feature “Forky,” the new character from Toy Story 4.

The $16.00 petite cake is chocolate cake with a black fondant frosting. It tastes yum, but leaves your teeth stained for a while, so be forewarned.

The $6.00 eclair is filled with peanut butter cream cheese mousse and marshmallow fluff, decorated with a fondant strip printed with an image of Forky. I grew up on a steady diet of Fluffernutter sandwiches, so this eclair is like tasting childhood for me, which perfectly fits the Toy Story theme.
