Disney California Adventure has a brand new parade. It’s part of Pixar Fest, which is a seasonal celebration happening at Disneyland Resort April 26 through August 4, 2024. Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! premiered today at Disney California Adventure and in this post we’ll take a look at each of the floats and share our thoughts. Better Together features a ton of Pixar characters, a catchy new song, dancers, and a few nice looking floats.

The parade starts off with the everyone’s favorite lamp, Luxo.

Luxo is covered with stickers from the various Pixar movies.

Red Panda Mei joins the band 4*Town on this float dedicated to Turning Red.

It’s Red Panda Mei!

Abby Park and Mei Lee’s other friends are also part of the float.

Next up there’s Russel riding on Kevin while Carl and Dug follow.

Dug was a big hit with the crowd when I watched the parade.

Joe Gardner from Soul gets his own float.

22 joins Joe and his students.

Joy and Sadness from Inside Out appear on Bing Bong’s rocket wagon.

Bing Bong does appear on the back, but not in his meet and greet character form, which is exclusive to Pixar Place Hotel.

The highlight of the parade is the float based off Luca.

There’s some fun details on this one. Luca, Alberto, Giulia and Machiavelli all make an appearance.

Next we see some returning floats from the former Pixar Play Parade along with Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, Frozone, and Woody.

The parade wraps up with a colorful float with Miguel, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear.

Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan wave goodbye on the back.

Overall Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! is a cute diversion that is worth seeing if you can easily grab a spot less than 30 minutes before showtime. There should be at least two performances a day for the rest of Pixar Fest.
