REVIEW – We’ve Found The BEST Holiday Treat at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Last year the Double Chocolate Peppermint Ice Cream Sandwich arrived at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and we’re happy to say it’s back! With the holiday rush and so many great holiday treats in all four Walt Disney World theme parks, we saved the best for last.

The Double Chocolate Peppermint Ice Cream Sandwich is available at Dino-Bite Snacks, a little snack trailer inside Dinoland USA that fits the campy theme and serves up ice cream creations, cookies, beverages, and draft beer. You have GOT to get to Animal Kingdom for this ice cream treat, especially if you love chocolate and peppermint.

Two dense chocolate cookies make an ice cream sandwich with vanilla ice cream. Then that sandwich is rolled in crushed peppermint candy and dipped in peppermint white chocolate. It looks so festive, and it tastes as good as it looks.

At $6.99 it is one of the pricier holiday treats at Walt Disney World, but it is so worth it. The serving is large enough to be shared, but it’s totally okay if you don’t want to give it up.
