A Few Shops Closing at Walt Disney World
With the new year, a few shops within the Walt Disney World resort are closing their doors. First off, the Wyland Galleries location at Disney’s Polynesian Resort officially closed its doors on December 31. The store sold paintings, sculptures, and other pieces of art. The location at Disney’s BoardWalk remains open.
Over at Magic Kingdom, two gift shops will close on January 4, 2014: Heritage House and Seven Dwarfs Mine Shop. We do not know what will happen in either of these locations after the stores close.
Heritage House is the gift shop for The Hall of Presidents, and it sells patriotic items. Seven Dwarfs Mine Shop is in Fantasyland and was the gift shop for the Snow White’s Scary Adventures attraction, which was replaced by Princess Fairytale Hall last fall. Merchandise that was in these shops can be found in other locations around the park.

With Heritage House closing, where else can I buy a portrait of Ronald Reagan at WDW?
The store in the American Adventure Pavilion at Epcot had a few presidential portraits last time I was there. I don’t recall whether Reagan was one of them.
