It is time to say goodbye to the stage show, “Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away” (otherwise known by me as the Star Wars Fashion Show) at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

This live action show features various Star Wars characters who appear on the park’s main stage located near the Chinese Theater. It begins with clips playing from all of the Star Wars movies and the a parade of characters begin to appear on the stage. Characters include Chewbacca, Kylo Ren, Rey, BB-8, Stormtroopers, Darth Maul and Darth Vader.

Disney hasn’t confirmed whether this entertainment offering will be replaced by something new in the future, nor have they mentioned if some of these characters would be re-locating to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

The last performance of this show is on February 22.

  • And so the only show with real Star Wars Characters is leaving….I hate the Galaxy edge theme. Star Wars weekends was way more exciting than the non star wars vibe of Galaxy edge. Two stormtroopers patrolling gets very old after a while. But this is the same company who made an entire Skywalker movie series with out including Luke Skywalker in them! Imagine Avatar land that is Almost Avatar.

  • I thought it was closing in March.
