The Magic Is Calling! Walt Disney World Adding a New Scene to Electrical Water Pageant to Celebrate 50th Anniversary

It is awesome to learn that the Electrical Water Pageant is getting some love to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World! Today, Disney shared that there will be new scenes in the classic nighttime spectacular that features a towering castle, swirling pixie dust. The float, as you can see above, looks amazing! There will also be a version of the celebration anthem song, “The Magic is Calling” playing. This new addition will bookend the full traditional show as it sails nightly across Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake.

For those that have never seen the Electrical Water Pageant, it is a stunning electric-light show that takes place aboard small barges. The show features some awesome electronic music. The Pageant features 25-foot tall screens on barges that use Christmas lights to create the incredible display.

This popular nighttime show that has been enchanting Guests since 1971. It sets sail each evening and makes stops at various resort hotels along the way. Guests can catch the show at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, as well as just outside the Magic Kingdom.

It’s so great to see this classic that has been around for 50 years is getting some love for the big celebration!
