Things Will Get Junglier Later This Summer Thanks to New Jungle Cruise Updates

It’s time to get back to the Jungle. That’s because the Jungle Cruise will be reopening at the Disneyland Resort on July 16 with its new, updated storyline and characters. The good news, the famous humor that we all know and love from our favorite skippers will still be part of the fun.

If you’re curious about the Walt Disney World version, it reopens later this summer at the Magic Kingdom.

For those who are unware, the attraction on both coasts are seeing an update to build on the original story with new adventures that stay true to the experience we already know. For example, as has already been shared, Trader Sam has converted the Lost & Found location that’s in the jungle into, well, a gift shop. There will also be several other new scenes along the river that all connect to the story.

In addition, the world-famous skippers will continue their unique presentations along the river with interactions that Guests expect. And you may even hear some updated jokes.

We’ll be sure to share more details about updates on the Jungle Cruise progress, as well as the date of the Magic Kingdom version’s opening.
