VHS Movie Art Inspires Merchandise Line

You know those Disney movie VHS tapes you watched over and over and over? (They took so long to rewind!) The artwork from the classic cassettes is now featured on a line of merchandise that includes tee shirts, clutch bags that look like VHS clamshells, and blank books that look like paperbacks.

We found these in the DisneyStyle shop at Disney Springs, but they are available in many locations in the parks and resorts.

Oddly, we haven’t seen any representatives in this line from the animated Beauty and the Beast, that is very much of this same era. Keep an eye out and let us know if you find any VHS B&B tees!

is it safe to assume that the image on the Little Mermaid T-shirt is the adjusted image and not the image from the first issue VHS box art? Those who owned the first VHS copies of the movie know what I’m talking about, or you can google it.

I don’t know about the t-shirts but the beauty and the beast gift shop in the magic kingdom has the VHS blank books. We just saw them this week.
