  • I haven’t seen anything like a “roomfinder” tool for this new Villas at Disneyland. I have an upcoming reservation and was wondering if there’s any advice on any special requests I should make for our family of four staying in a standard studio there.

    • We don’t have a room finder for Disneyland but we are exploring if it would be possible. At Disneyland there’s only a few very specific room categories for each of the official hotels so you pretty much get what you pay for. For the Studios specifically there’s Standard (with views of “Gardens” which is pretty much just plants, Street or Parking Area), Deluxe Studio – Preferred View (views of the pool area), and Deluxe Studio Garden
which are rooms that are right in the pool area and also view the pool.

  • Does the room have enough “bright” lighting, so a person could read things like a paper map or a book if the curtains were closed or it was night? Also, I wish you had opened the fridge to show us what is in it (e.g. does it have a freezer?). Great review, very thorough.

    • Yes, I was impressed with the lighting. It’s bright and from almost all directions. As for the fridge, there is a small freezer, enough to fit two cans of soda, which is what I put in there to quickly cool. This is a pretty standard Disney mini fridge.

      • Great! (on both Q’s). Thanks for the quick answer. Nothing annoys me more than arriving at a place after dark and having only very dim lighting.

  • Great detailed room video! I’m a local so probably wouldn’t have a reason to spend so much on a room. The details are very appealing and special.

    • Thank you! Same here about being a local and spending that kind of money.
