Walt Disney World Introduces 1-Day, 1-Park Ticket with 3 Linked FastPass+

Do you happen to have a last minute trip to Walt Disney World in the works? Like, so last minute, your trip is tomorrow and you don’t have tickets yet OR FastPass+ reservations. Well, now, Disney is offering a ticket that can help with that dilemma!

With the new 1-Day, 1-Park Ticket with 3 Linked FastPass+ reservations, you can automatically skip the standby lines to some of the park’s most popular attractions because 3 FastPass+ experiences will already be included and linked with your park admission.

The main facet of the 1-Day, 1-Park Ticket with 3 Linked FastPass+ option is that you don’t really get to choose which FastPass+ options you’ll receive; Disney will be choosing the FastPass+ options for you. Guests will be able to choose from different categories that may suit their family, but you are locked into those particular FastPass+ attractions in that particular category, as well as the times that will be available for you to ride that attraction.

So, what are the categories you can choose from at the four theme parks? They include:

Magic Kingdom

Fantasyland Classics

  • Dumbo
  • it’s a small world
  • Mad Tea Party

Futuristic and Frightful Fun

  • Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
  • Haunted Mansion
  • Tomorrowland Speedway

Pint-size Adventures

  • The Barnstormer
  • The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
  • Pirates of the Caribbean

Whimsical Escapes

  • Under The Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid
  • The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
  • Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor

Immersive Explorations

  • Spaceship Earth
  • Living with the Land
  • The Seas with Nemo and Friends

Delightful Encounters

  • The Seas with Nemo and Friends
  • Turtle Talk with Crush
  • Imagination with Figment

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Sensational Stage Shows

  • Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage
  • For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
  • Voyage of The Little Mermaid

Movie-Inspired Excitement

  • Muppet*Vision 3D
  • Star Tours: The Adventures Continue
  • Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Prehistoric and Whitewater Thrills

  • Kali River Rapids
  • Primeval Whirl

Wild Performances

  • Festival of the Lion King
  • Finding Nemo – The Musical
  • It’s Tough to Be a Bug

Obviously, this 1-Day, 1-Park Ticket with 3 Linked FastPass+ option isn’t for everyone, however I can certainly see this ticket being beneficial to that family that just shows up to the parks with no idea what they’re doing. For those of us in the know though, this ticket option certainly isn’t that appealing, given that most of these options tend to have day of availability, most of the time. (I know I personally use some of these attractions for my rolling FastPass+ options and there typically tends to be plenty of availability.) With all that said though, if you’re going to a Walt Disney World theme park tomorrow, this is an option that could work for you.

Talk about sticking it to the neophyte Disney family! The fastpasses on these tickets include NONE of the most popular attractions at any park. What an underhanded way of also keeping these guests from getting fastpasses to the harder to get attractions. Nothing “magical ” about this at all. One might even call it misleading and deceptive. But that’s the new Disney.

If you’re coming into the park last minute and buying a one-day ticket, you probably weren’t going to have the option to select any E-ticket attractions anyway.

The MK “Futuristic and Frightful Fun” one isn’t actually that bad. (It’s the Haunted Mansion, Buzz, Speedway one.) Sure none of these are the BEST use of Fastpass+ but if you really do show up with no plans, those are at least three rides that will probably have lines in the middle of the day, so the Fastpass is of SOME use. Same goes for the Animal Kingdom one that gets you Rapids, Dinosaur, and Primeval. Those will actually be worthwhile in the high seasons.

Are these considered “bonus” fast passes, i.e. can you still go into MDE and pick out three that you would have gotten to pick anyway? Or is Disney just populating your given three with one the the collections they’ve created?

They def. missed a cash grab opportunity, which is surprising on their part. There are enough people who throw money around that they could have jacked up the prices of these special one day tickets and given people both Pandora experiences or Toy Story Land for Hollywood Studios, because as others have said…these choices are lackluster…

Hi Rikki. Can you tell me more about “rolling fast pass+?”
