Where Are the Ride Share Pick-Up and Drop-Off Locations at Walt Disney World Theme Parks?
Utilizing ride share services like Lyft and Uber while at Walt Disney World is now a regular practice by many guests. In fact, Disney cited it as one of their justifications for ending the Magical Express Program next year. Each Walt Disney World theme park, water park, and Disney Springs has a designated area for ride share services to pick up and drop off guests. Let’s look at these ride share locations so you can plan ahead.

- Magic Kingdom ride share location is at the Transportation and Ticket Center, near the bus terminal
- EPCOT ride share location is in the parking lot near the electric vehicle charging stations
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios ride share location is near the Disney Skyliner station
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom ride share location is to the left after you exit the park, near off-property bus station
- Disney Springs has two ride share locations: West Side is near the Cirque du Soleil theater and Marketplace is the former Disney bus stop area, near Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
- Disney’s Blizzard Beach does not have a designated ride share location; the regular guest pick-up and drop-off area is used

The general rule of thumb is that the ride share pick-up and drop-off locations at Walt Disney World theme parks are located near the off-property bus terminal of each park. The preferred ride share provider on Walt Disney World property is Lyft. Uber services are allowed too, however. You might also find it interesting to scope out these instructions for Uber drivers at Magic Kingdom.

Pick-up and drop-off services are not allowed at any location that is not the designated area. So, for example, it is officially against policy to be dropped off at Disney’s Contemporary via ride share, unless you have a confirmed reservation. Other than the Magic Kingdom location being at the Transportation and Ticket Center, the designated locations are pretty convenient and just a few steps from the park entrance and exit.

Have you ever utilized ride share services at Walt Disney World? What tips would you like to share?
Thank you so much for this post. This is exactly the information I was looking for while planning my upcoming trip!
If we have young children can they ride a Lift or Uber without carseats? Also, for the Magic Kingdom did I understand correctly that it drops you off at the ticket/transportation area?
Thanks
Hey Sandra, I am not certain, but I believe you might have meant to ask if you can get a ride share with a car seat since you have small children. That is an option, but it is my understanding that availability is limited, and there is a limit of one car seat, so families with two children needing car seats would need to consider other options. Some transportation services like Mears have vans you can schedule ahead of time with more than one car seat. And yes, Magic Kingdom’s drop off location is over at the Ticket and Transportation Center.
I will be dropping off my older teens/young adults at Hollywood studios. When I enter the booths to pay, do I tell them I’m just dropping them off then follow the directions for the Lyft rideshare?
What about when I pick them up at park closing?
I’m nervous that I’m somehow going to screw up since this is my first time dropping off at any Disney Park.
Hi! Thank you for posting this information! We are considering doing Uber or Lyft from our condo to Disney Parks. Is it pretty convenient to do this rather than renting a car?
We went to WDW this year and used Uber rather than renting a car. It was so convenient and so much cheaper than a rental. We stayed at The Swan. The most we ever paid for a rideshare within WDW was $13. Our total cost for rideshare for the week was less than what we would have paid for parking at a WDW hotel. We stopped taking the internal buses, as getting a rideshare was so cheap and convenient.
Information for DHS is no longer accurate, they are now directing pick up/drop off in the Mickey lot, on the other side of the tram loop.
Does anyone know how to type in pick up / drop offs for each of parks and also MCO as they arent coming up in Lyft app??
Thank you
Hello 🙂 If my husband is just dropping us off, will it be at the same rideshare locations? Thanks!!
