Which Section is Best at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort?
One of the few complaints that is often said about Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is that it is too spread out. One of our best tools to help with that is our Room Finder. This tool allows you to filter through room types, room views, and locations to find the best rooms to fit your needs.

A popular section of Disney’s Caribbean Beach is the Jamaica Village. This location is closest to the Disney Skyliner station. This is ideal if your focus is Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This section is across the lagoon from Centertown Market and the main themed pool, so for some guests that is a drawback. Chrissy recently stayed in the Jamaica section, specifically room 4330. She timed her walk from her room to some of the most popular spots in the resort. Let’s take a look.
- Less than 3 minute walk from room 4330 to Disney Skyliner station
- Less than a minute to the Jamaica Village pool and laundry
- Six minutes walk to Centertown Market

In February my family and I also stayed at Caribbean Beach. I used the TouringPlans Room Finder and decided Aruba would be the best section for us. I preferred to be closer to Disney’s Riviera Resort, both for its Skyliner station, which leads directly to EPCOT, and because of its dining options. We specifically selected building 52 and were successful in securing the exact room location we wanted by using the TouringPlans Room Finder. We loved our room’s location. It was a quick walk to the Riviera Resort Skyliner station so we could quickly get to EPCOT. The walk to the regular Caribbean Beach station wasn’t too bad to get to Hollywood Studios, but certainly not as convenient as the Jamaica section.

So, if the Skyliner is the most important factor for staying at Caribbean Beach, you’ll then want to decide if EPCOT is your focus or if Hollywood Studios is more your focus. If EPCOT, consider the Aruba section, if Hollywood Studios head for Jamaica. Either way, you’re sure to enjoy the island atmosphere of this great Disney moderate resort.
Have you stayed at Caribbean Beach Resort before? What’s your favorite section?
Well written article, very informative. Would like to be directed to similar articles regarding animal kingdom resorts ( including villas w 2 bathrooms,
Rooms on concierge floor, and rooms in different floor but have concierge floor benefits).
Thank you
How do you choose a room? When we booked, it was a combined room and tickets deal. The website just lists us as a standard room.
Hi Pamela,
Visit this page on our site: https://touringplans.com/hotel_maps/disneys-caribbean-beach-resort.
Tell it you have a standard room with 2 queen beds. It’ll highlight in red the buildings that have those rooms.
Click on any building and it’ll show you all of the rooms, floor by floor, that meet your criteria.
Click on any room to see the view from that room.
When you find a view you like, there should be a link in the upper-right corner of that room view that says something like “Request this view for your upcoming stay.” Follow those directions.
Let me know if this doesn’t make sense: len@touringplans.com.
Thank you for this article. I knew I wanted to be close to the Caribbean Beach Skyliner station and the timing information was so helpful.
