We really liked this location! The only con to being on first floor is making sure the patio doors are locked. Pros to the location include walking out the patio door to the pool close by (swimming and refillable mug station), no need to wait for elevators when leaving the building, very quiet because it's at the end of the hallway, and it's close to the Community Room. It's also a convenient location to take the elevator up to 5th floor to cross the walkway over to the Contemporary if you are traveling on the monorail.

I never would have thought to request a room on the first floor but turned out great. Easy walk to the pool / lobby / path outside patio. Quiet EXCEPT for the dang electric water pageant speakers.
