This room is handicap accessible. My son and I stayed in here last weekend--we did not need the handicap accessible room, but I was fine with it. The door is slow to shut if you do not have a wheel chair, but would be wonderful if you are using one or even a stroller. There is only one sink, which worked fine for us, but would cause a problem for a larger family that does not need that type of room. It was not to far from the lobby and it was also not far from a back set of elevators that led to the quiet pool which we used to shorten out walk to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The balcony was HUGE, but we did not use it because the view was not exciting at all. Also, There was not a large dresser, just 3 drawers, but the closet was larger than typical deluxe rooms to make up for it.

This room worked out great for our family -- myself, my husband, and our two boys (ages 9 and 11). There is really no view to speak of, but the view was not important to us. It was extremely hot during our stay, so we usually kept the curtains closed to keep the room cool. As the other commenter mentioned, the balcony is huge; we would have loved to take advantage of it, but it was simply too hot during our stay. The room is nicely situated between the lobby and the back doors, so it was a short walk to the lobby/restaurants/pool/bus stop in one direction and the quiet pool/beach/EPCOT in the other. We took a break most afternoons and came back for naps/quiet time, and I never heard any noise at all at any time of day. If you need handicap accessible, it is a roll-in bathroom, but not a roll-in shower. There is a hand-held shower head. There is really no bathroom storage; I brought an over-the-door shoe sorter and hung it on the shower curtain bar to hold our lotion, medicine, etc. The only things we would have liked to have were a second sink and a microwave. We brought a travel kettle and were able to make ramen noodles and oatmeal in the room. The fridge was a little quirky; some items froze solid while others did not (we never did figure out why). The beds were comfortable, and I thought the bath products provided were nice. We had daily housekeeping.
