Elevator noise is very noticeable in this room

Yes you can hear the elevator (especially at night). But it is directly across the elevator and the shortest walk to the lobby/pool/restaurants. You get an extra large, triangle shaped balcony with a nice view of the quiet pool. Liked how the door to the room is tucked away in it's own little area.

I would not recommend this room. There was a very annoying intermittent noise at all times. I'm not sure if it was the air conditioning or the elevator. If you go out on the balcony and look to the left you will see what I think is the air conditioning units for the whole side of the building. We were only staying for 2 nights, so didn't ask for a room change. Thank goodness we had a fan for sleeping. The balcony is huge, but you practically share it with your neighbor next door. Nice view of the pool. The updated rooms are lovely. Murphy bed, new drapes, new bed with storage underneath. The units still have carpeting on the floors.
