Enid A. Haupt Garden

Description And Comments

In between the Ripley Center entrance and the Castle is a brick pathway that will lead you into one of the most splendid gardens in Washington: the Enid A. Haupt Garden. This 4-acre formal garden contains a few different sections, each carefully manicured and featuring fountains, seating areas, and thousands of flowers. The garden makes a wonderful photo op, framed by the grand Smithsonian Castle to the north, the Freer and Sackler Galleries to the west, and the National Museum of African Art and the Arts and Industries Building to the east.
