More Info About The Chase Lounge For Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival

While I was at Disney last week, I got to experience the Chase Lounge that is found in the Festival Center in Future World at Epcot for the International Food and Wine Festival. It was a nice experience overall.

Guests will find the Chase Lounge over by the Ghiradelli, The Chocolate Experience: From the Bean to the Bar section of the building. (By the way, if you are in that section, make sure to try the Drinking Chocolate. Literally like drinking a chocolate bar! Yum!) You will find the lounge on the right hand side and there will be a Cast Member waiting there to see your Chase Visa. You can use any type of Chase card you may have, it does not have to be strictly a Disney Visa. You are allowed to bring in up to 10 guests per card. Do keep in mind that the area is small, so you may have to wait until you will be able to enter.

Once you do get access to the Lounge, guests will be able get a soft drink or tea. You will also have access to phone charging stations at a large circular table on one side of the room. There are couches and chairs which allow guests to relax, while watching Disney cartoons. Also, there is an interactive touch screen available to give guests more information about the Festival.

In addition, if guests get there early enough, there is the ability to get special wristbands to have special seating for the Eat to the Beat Concerts, as well as a reserved area for IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.

Also, for those who are the biggest of Disney geeks, make sure to check out the bathrooms! They are still themed after the original pavilion!

Honestly, the Chase Lounge was such a great area to get to see and relax in. I would recommend spending a little time here, especially on those hot Florida days.

It would be great to know how the Wifi reception is here. A little remote working from the Chase Lounge might be nice.

The Illuminations viewing, when I was there last week, was in the showcase plaza. It was amazing. We were there for the 30th Anniversary show and it was the perfect place to watch the show.

They were also giving away some tickets for the culinary and wine demonstrations in the Chase Lounge to Disney Chase Card holders only. It was first come first served, they gave away tickets for that day only, and they were very limited in number.
We loved hanging out in the lounge while we were there. It was a wonderful place to take a break in the middle of the day.

It has not been announced as taking place for 2013 as of right now. I do believe Chase is still sponsoring the Food and Wine Festival this year, so there is a possibility that it could be coming back. If it does, expect it to be announced much closer to the event.
