Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun and Disney Channel Rocks Set to End

According to reports, Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ afternoon parade, Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun!, as well as the street show, Disney Channel Rocks!, are both set to end their runs on April 6, 2013.  Although no public announcement has been made, according to my sources the Entertainment Department is aware of the development.

As of right now, there is no word on the reasons behind these closures, and there is no replacement for either.

My boys loved the Pixar Countdown to Fun!

  • Its time for something new at DHS.

  • 🙁 We never got to see the Pixar Pals Parade. Hopefully they will update the Disney Channel Rocks show and include some of the new music from Austin and Ally and Shake It Up. Our kids would love that. 🙂

    • Maybe not update, I mean replace it. 🙂

    Bring back Block Party Bash!

  • I hope they bring back Stars and Cars Parade!

  • That makes me sad. I found it was the only parade my son enjoyed- the Magic Kingdom parades are much too “girly” with all princesses he doesn’t know. I hope they replace it with the new disney junior stars- Jake, Doc McStuffins…he would like that. NOT more princesses!
