Disney Wonder, Deck 3 Midship

Summary

You know Disney is serious about the French theme when they put snails on the appetizer menu. C’est bon! There are other Gallic influences on the menu – many of the entrees have sauces whose bases include with butter, wine or spirits – and plenty of standard vegetarian, chicken, beef and pork dishes to make anyone happy.

Setting and Atmosphere

In case you’ve forgot that King Triton is Ariel’s father in The Little Mermaid, a large tile mosaic of Triton and Ariel sits at the back of this restaurant as a reminder. Besides the art, Triton’s blue, beige and grey colors lend a vague sea theme to the inside, but if you’ve visited any of the other restaurants, you’ll be inclined to think how any of them could be switched out just by changing the paint and light fixtures.

House Specialties

Breakfast features the usual buffet staples: fruit, cereals, eggs, waffles, bacon, sausages and pastries. Lunch includes soups, salads, sandwiches and burgers, plus a couple of alternative offerings such as pasta or fish. Dinner appetizers include escargots and French onion soup. The Grand Marnier soufflé is probably the most popular dessert.
