What should you know?

Disneyland's nearest theme park neighbor for its entire existence has been Knott's Berry Farm. Knott's is famous in the region for their fried chicken, but Disneyland has also has variation of the dish that's also pretty darn good. Don’t expect fine dining when you eat at the Plaza Inn, but the portions are very generous.

What’s it like inside?

Probably the high point of your meal at Plaza Inn is the gorgeous Victorian B&B ambience—comfortable, widely spaced tables in a spacious dining room with lots of brocade and brass. The large patio commands a great view of Main Street, where parades, strolling musicians, and the massive variety of visitors endlessly entertain us.

What are the specialties?

The star of the show is undoubtedly the fried chicken entree (which some claim is better than Knott’s famous birds), which includes mashed potatoes, vegetables, and a biscuit. The pot roast is also a good choice.
