    Mickey's PhilharMagic

Description And Comments

Mickey’s PhilharMagic is a 3-D movie that features an odd collection of Disney characters, mixing Mickey and Donald with Simba and Ariel as well as Jasmine and Aladdin. Presented in a theater large enough to accommodate a 150-foot-wide screen—huge by 3-D standards—the movie is augmented by an arsenal of special effects built into the theater. The plot involves Mickey, as the conductor of the PhilharMagic, leaving the theater to solve a mystery. In his absence, Donald attempts to take charge, with disastrous results.

Brilliantly conceived, furiously paced, and laugh-out-loud funny, Mickey’s PhilharMagicwill leave you grinning. Things pop out of the screen, but they’re really not scary.

Did you know? Mickey's PhilharMagic at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World is in the same theater that housed an animatronic extravaganza called Mickey Mouse Revue. The Revue was moved to Tokyo Disneyland for the park's opening in 1983. In 2009 the show was closed to make way for Mickey's PhilharMagic.

How's It Different From the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Versions?

The film is exactly the same as the PhilharMagic found at Walt Disney World. The lobby has some nice dioramas representing parts of the film. These are not present in Magic Kingdom's version.

Is it English Friendly?

All songs and dialog are in Japanese.
