Selections

Grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, and ribs. A grilled fish, such as mahi mahi, is usually available, along with veggie burgers. Sides include corn on the cob, coleslaw, various salads, and similar picnic food, plus cookies and soft serve ice cream for dessert.

Summary

If you’re on the island early, you’ll smell the charcoal burning when the crew starts cooking lunch. Most of the food is on par with what you’d find at a typical picnic. As with Cookie’s, the most common complaint we hear is that the food is overcooked. Hamburgers and hot dogs are the safest bets. The ribs are hit-or-miss, and the chicken is usually on the dry side. If you find something you like, feel free to go back for seconds – just like on the ship, it’s all-you-care-to-eat on Castaway Cay.

Just like the original Cookie’s BBQ, Bookie’s Too’s seating is set of picnic tables under a roofed, open-air pavilion. The picnic tables can seat 6 to 8 people comfortably. If your family is smaller than that, you may be asked to share a table.
