PHOTOS: Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Prepares for Rise of the Resistance Press Event

In a Galaxy Far, Far Away preparations are being made for a major press event. We’re all eagerly waiting for the opening of Disney’s groundbreaking attraction “Rise of the Resistance” to open later this week. Members of the media and press are now at Disney’s Hollywood Studios getting a sneak peek at the attraction.

While at Disney’s Hollywood Studios we spotted preparations underway for the press event and opening ceremony of the super E-ticket ride we’ve all been waiting for, “Rise of the Resistance”. Disney has hyped this attraction as something unlike anything we’ve experienced before and from the looks of the preparations underway it seems the opening will be a big event. Video monitors and a stage with a Resistance themed banner have been erected in the land.

It’s a little funny that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is meant to be Disney’s most immersive themed land, but the planet of Batuu is currently invaded by Planet Earth’s technology of huge video monitors and AV equipment. All kidding aside, it is going to be an exciting week at Walt Disney World.
