Disney Cruise Line in a Jiffy: What is Marceline Market?

Every Disney Cruise Line ship has a large restaurant that serves a wide range of options for breakfast and lunch. On the Disney Wish, Treasure, and Destiny, this restaurant is a food court called Marceline Market; you’ll find it on Deck 11, along with several of the pools. Here’s what you need to know.

If you’ve cruised on Disney’s older ships, you might be familiar with the Cabanas buffet. Marceline Market has the same wide range of offerings on the Triton-class ships, from American classics to international flavors, dished up as soups and salads, entrees, baked goods, and desserts. Like Cabanas, the food is separated into stations, but Marceline Market has a food court layout with more space between the stalls and counters.

Marceline Market is not self-service; you’ll pass your plate across to a Cast Member and they’ll pass it back with your food. This can sometimes be a challenge, but many guests appreciate that it feels more hygienic than a self-service buffet. And speaking of hygiene, there are handwashing stations at the entrance to the dining room to remind diners to wash up before digging in.

At breakfast, look for cold cuts & breakfast meats, eggs, hash browns, and pastries, along with a few international favorites and staples like toast, fresh fruit, cereal, and yogurt. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Disney breakfast without Mickey Waffles. The breakfast lineup will be very similar from day to day, but there’s enough variety that you won’t get bored.

When lunch is served, the menu changes over. Some items, like cold cuts and fruit, remain. But the rest is swapped out for grill favorites like hamburgers and hot dogs, pastas, internationally inspired dishes, seafood, and carved meats. You’ll also find soups and a salad station, and peel’n’eat shrimp is a favorite that’s often available. Many of the offerings change from day to day, but you’ll always find kid-friendly staples like chicken tenders and mac ‘n’ cheese.

Once you’ve got your plate (or plates), there are plenty of choices for seating. You’ll find both tables and booths, and indoor and outdoor dining areas.

Check the Navigator app for hours; Marceline Market is open for breakfast and lunch, but not dinner, and meal periods will tend to be longer on sea days. For a sit-down restaurant breakfast or lunch, you’ll find one of the main dining rooms available, but the menu will be far more restricted than what you’ll find at Marceline Market. And for all-day casual dining, Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods has Quick Service favorites like burgers, tacos, and pizza, so you can always get a bite even when Marceline Market is closed.
