Disney in a Minute: What is Club Cool?
We’re here with a series of quick posts, “Disney in a Minute,” bite-sized nuggets of information that can better help you understand a Disney term or planning topic. Enjoy!
Club Cool is a Coca-Cola themed shop located in EPCOT just behind the Creations Shop. Club Cool sells a small selection of Coke-branded merchandise (if that’s your thing, there is a much larger Coke store at Disney Springs with a larger range of merchandise), but the real draw here are the fountains dispensing free soft drinks.
The catch is that the eight free options are Coke-owned brands distributed in countries around the world, not the U.S. While the offering do change periodically, you’re most likely to find Beverly (Italy), Bonbon Anglais (Madagascar), Country Club (Dominican Republic), Joy (Korea), Royal (Philippines), Smart Sour (China), Sprite Cucumber (Russia), and Viva (Moldova). The drink dispensers are flanked by racks of tasting-size paper cups. You’re welcome to sample as many of the sodas as you like, comparing your top choices with those of your travel companions.
One word of warning, the Beverly option is notoriously reviled by many. It has a flavor profile more like an aperitif or a mixer than a sweet, chuggable soda. Think tonic water only more bitter. Catching video of someone’s first sip of Beverly is a time-honored Disney tradition. That said, I happen to genuinely love Beverly. Keep your minds open, folks.
You’re welcome to stay as long as you like, but please try to be mindful of other guests and allow everyone to have a turn.
