Room Review

Terra Luna is the sibling resort of Stella Nova and is located southwest of Epic Universe. The resort features 750 rooms, on-site quick service dining, a pool with a hot tub, a lobby and pool bar, and more! The tower is made of color-shifting tiles that create a galaxy mosaic. Inside the hotel is a sleek, white, neo-futurist design with terrestial accents extending from the lobby and into the rooms. Terra Luna has one type of room – a 315 sq ft room with two queen beds. The room has a small seating area for relaxing or getting ready in the morning or enough space for a malleable child to sleep. All rooms include a mini fridge and a coffee maker while each floor features a water bottle refill station for those like me who love to hydrate.
Our crack TouringPlans recon team landed in room 9077, which just so happens to be on the top floor. This top floor room offers one perk – 8-foot fall ceilings! Oooooh. Ahhhh. Our team found the lighting plentiful and pleasant to the eye, with special marks for the headboard lighting. Speaking of beds, they are new Sealy mattresses surrounded by an impressive 7 layers between you and the mattress. Unfortunately, the same “stack of napkins” pillows return at Terra Luna, so request a few extras through Universal’s awesome free texting service.

The centerpiece of the room is the styled oval window. at 5 feet x 4 1/2 feet, it’s smaller than most windows at other resorts but does offer a handy shelf for storage. Oh, and we can’t forget the sound tests! The results for Terra Luna are good! Our crew then turned the A/C temperature down and found it reached 49 dB, slightly quieter than Stella Nova. Hallway noise registers the same as at Stella Nova, in the mid-40 dbs.
Terra Luna uses a split bathroom set up just like at Stella Nova. There is a vanity open to the room with a sink, mirror, toiletries, towels, cups, and a hair dryer, while the toilet and bathtub or shower are located in its small room. It’s a popular setup in modern resort rooms, and it works well here. If you have young children, you might want to request a bathtub over a shower.
