There are new prizes and a new price for Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit Scavenger Hunt this year. This is one of two scavenger hunt at EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival.

All EPCOT Festival scavenger hunts, including this one, have been priced at $9.99 + tax each for the last several years. The new price is $11.99 +tax for Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit and Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak. Annual Pass discounts apply.  You can purchase game cards and redeem them for prizes at the following locations:

  • Gateway Gifts under Spaceship Earth
  • Creations Shop
  • Disney Traders at the entrance to World Showcase
  • World Traveler at the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT

The goal of the game is to find all 12 decorated pumpkins hidden around the park. They are located in World Celebration, World Nature, and World Discovery – so, the front of the park / old Future World. When you find a pumpkin, place the corresponding sticker on the map location where it was discovered. Or, save the stickers for something fun at home. They make some neat scrapbook embellishments if you’re into paper crafts.

We won’t do too many spoilers, but let us know if you know where we found the pumpkins below.

Goofy is easy to miss in this busy location.

There are new prizes for Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit this year. Do you remember the mini cornhole games we saw at Flower and Garden a few years ago? They’re back this year but with a spooky theme.

All 5 prize options.

The best thing about EPCOT Festival scavenger hunts is that you don’t need to complete them to get your prize! You can claim your prize as soon as you purchase your game board or at any time afterward until the Festival ends or prizes run out. We’ve seen prizes run out many times in the past so we recommend you snag the prize you want on the day of your purchase. When you’re ready to redeem your board, a Cast Member will stamp “completed” on the bottom right of the back of your card. This prevents folks from getting more than one prize per card. Then, you’re able to pick your reward. The picture above shows the 5 Halloween cornhole games you have to choose from. Each plastic-wrapped game is 3 inches wide and 4 inches long, and sits at a slant about 1 inch off the ground when set up. They each come with two mini bean bags, also wrapped in plastic.

What do you think about the prizes and price increase for Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit this year? Will you be purchasing a game board during your visit to Food and Wine?
