Priceline’s Summer Pop

We’re back with another round of terrific Priceline hidden deals to help you plan your Summer visit!

A few months ago we wrote about a drop of Priceline Value resort deals that ran from May to September. Those deals hung around for awhile and we even saw some additional days of deals fill in the calendar, which is a bit unusual for Priceline since they don’t tend to modify a drop once it appears.

In that previous post we outlined a few of the tactics and good-to-knows for searching Priceline hidden deals if you need to brush up. But for the purposes of this deal drop, know this:

Pop Century is the only Priceline resort in Bonnet Creek that is a 3-star, 8-guest rated with a review count in the 700s.

This weekend we noticed that they released some Pop Century hidden deals that are a fairly consistent run all the way from June 20th to August 15th. Prices for these deals run from $105 to $138 per night, with the higher prices on Fridays and Saturdays.

An interesting thing we also noticed is that you can’t necessarily believe the prices you see in search results with this drop. For example, searching on July 30th, we see these two items in the search results:

But if you follow each of these deals into the booking cart (the Pop Cart?) you’ll notice that the regular deal has dropped by $3 and the hidden deal dropped by $18 per night!

But, seeing a lower price in the cart isn’t going to bother anyone is it?

All-In Pricing Examples

Selecting a couple of random dates, we’ve priced out the all-in pricing of these hidden deals to Priceline’s regular and Disney’s rates for this room – Long story short is these deals are coming in about 44-50% below Disney’s rates, which is an incredible deal.

The prices shown in these calendars were found searching single nights at a time. Often Priceline drops have gaps in the calendar, but this one seems to be wall to wall deals. But, if you do find a single day where no results pop in, moving your starting and ending dates around will sometimes tease out a few more days in between.
