Celestial Park is the relaxing world between worlds at Epic Universe, a space to decompress and enjoy a nice meal, snack, or beverage. This article covers the bars and lounges found around Celestial Park, from outside bars that overlook fountain shows to indoor moody bars with stiff drinks, Epic Universe has it all. We count bars as a venue that primarily sells alcohol and is set up for that purpose, standing space at the bar is a requirement but we prefer seating at the bar and nearby.

Atlantic – Aquaria Bar

Located at the front of the park next to Super Nintendo World is our first destination: ATLANTIC, the jewel aquariumof Celestial Park. Inside the two story glass dodecagon is the restaurant on the first level near the water while the Aquaria Bar is located on the second story among the animated fish swimming above.

Aquaria Bar serves a strong drink game with a selection of classic and modern cocktails like the old fashioned (above), Manhattan, Paloma, Aperol Spritz, High Ball, and an Espresso Martini (Happy Pride). While the bar does not serve food (sorry folks) it is large and spacious with a great lounge area overlooking the restaurant.

The Oak & Star Tavern – The Plastered Owl

Located in the BBQ restaurant The Oak & Star Tavern, the Plastered Owl is not just an amazing name for a bar but also your best stop for bourbon in Epic Universe. Located on the right hand side of Oak and Star, this indoor bar features an octogonal bar with seating for a dozone folks. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic with design details pulled out of a craftsman home. If you’re on a hurry to Dark Universe there is a walk up window outside the bar .

Plastered Owl is a whiskey and bourbon forward bar featuring several cocktails with the spirits. The Plastered Owl drink (see above) comes in its own cute glass and is made with whiskey, muddled cherries, lemons, and simple syrup. Others like the Breakfast Old Fashioned answer the question “how much is too much bacon on top of a cocktail?” and their unique take on a high ball is made with orange Jameson.

CelesTiki

Located outside of Dark Universe is your destination for rum – CelesTiki! This outdoor tiki bar focuses on mixed and frozen rum cocktails with tropical flourishes. The Celestians discovered their love of tiki drinks on their travels to Volcano Bay, where they picked up the recipe for the Waturi Punch.

Speaking of the Waturi Punch, this cocktail is made with two types of rum, fresh orange and lime juice, honey syrup, passion fruit puree, and bitters. Yum. Also check out the Frozen Mudslide and Frozen Pina Colada if you need a strong drink that will also cool you off in record time.

The Blue Dragon – The Tiger Bar

In the back of Celestial Park, to the right of the Helios Grand Hotel, is The Blue Dragon. Featuring pan asian cusine with a focus on Chinese dishes. On the far left side of the restaurant is The Tiger Bar, named after the neon tiger artwork located above the bar. Quiet, dark, and moody, The Tiger Bar is an escape from the Florida heat and Epic Universe bussle.

The Tiger Bar focuses on Japanese, Chinese, and Thai liquors with its unique cocktail menu. Original cocktails include a szchuan take on a smash, a gin fiz made with elderflour liquor, a lemon drop made with Yuzu, and more. Not in the mood for a mixed drink? Check out Tiger Bar’s selection of sake, craft beer, or wines. If alcohol isn’t your thing check out the bar’s tea menu.

Meteor Astropub Bar

What pairs better with a burger than a beer? At Meteor Astropub you can find both! Metor Astropub is located in the middle of Celestial Park, between Wizarding Paris and the Isle of Berk. Inside is shapred like a giant derrigible hanger with arched ceilings and brick masonwork. The bar space seats roughtly a dozen at the bar but numerous high top talbes are available.

The drink menu is a standard selection of mixed drinks and beers. Cocktails include a vodka lemonade, margarita, bees knees, and mojito. Beers include a selection of domestic and craft options, including The Speechless Astronomer craft beer brewed just for the park by Crooked Can Brewing.

Bar Zenith

Last but not least is Bar Zenith, an outdoor bar located next to the Cosmos Fountain by Meteor Astropub. This unassuming bar shakes (and stirs) up planetary themed cocktails. Cocktails are gin and vodka forward with interesting spins on drinks like the bramble, rum punch, and even a mocktail option. Beers and wines are also on the drink menu and feature the same domestic and craft options available around the park.

TouringPlans Touring Tips

  • Epic Universe mixed cocktails are expensive but they are strong, one Epic cocktails could easily be the same as two at another theme park bar.
  • Hydrate! Free water is available at all bars, restaurants, and throught the Coke Freestyle Machines.
  • Avoid jumping between hard liquor types, beer, wine, and cinder. Remember the rule: liquor before beer you stay in the clear. You will thank yourself the next day.
  • Save Bar Zenith and CelesTiki for meal times when the bar located in restaurants will be crowded.
