Rare Find – Costumes for Adults Sold at Disney World

If you shop at general costume retailers, it’s easy to find adult Disney-themed costumes. For example, at BuyCostumes.com there are five different Minnie Mouse costumes for adult women, including a rose gold version. But, in keeping with the prohibition against adults wearing costumes in the parks (other than at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party), full adult costumes are rarely sold at Walt Disney World itself.

However, during a recent trip to the DisneyStyle shop at Disney Springs, I spotted a collection of four adult character-inspired Halloween costumes for women: Minnie Mouse, the Queen of Hearts, Ursula, and the Cheshire Cat. These are all tutu-style dresses, with a fitted bodice and tuile skirt, priced at $44.99. All costumes include the dress as well as an accessory such as ears or a fabric crown. Sizes at the store ran from S to XL.

These are a good option for women making a last-minute decision to attend the Halloween Party. The small size might also work for dress-up play for an older elementary-age child.
