This weekend, Guests who visit the Disneyland Resort are invited to make a stop in the Downtown Disney District to drop off a toy for those in need at the Toys for Tots drive. Guests will be able to drop off a new, unwrapped toy on December 7 and 8 from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. near the Downtown Disney District LIVE! stage. The U.S. Marines will even be on hand to accept the donations.

For those who would like to purchase their donations at the resort, there will be a convenient way to purchase toys for donation at a pop-up shop between Disney’s Pin Traders and the Downtown Disney District monorail station.

Did you know that Disney’s tradition of supporting the Toys for Tots program dates back to Walt Disney? Walt personally supervised the creation of the Toys for Tots logo that is still used to this day. Disney was also was a founding sponsor of the program when it began in 1947.
