Behind the Scenes of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Disney allowed select reporters into the much-anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge last week. While TouringPlans’ invitation must have been lost in the mail, Len Testa and Jim Hill spoke to someone who was there on the latest episode of the Disney Dish Podcast. The wonderful Carlye Wisel wrote about her experiences for Travel + Leisure and very enthusiastically told Jim and Len all about the tour.

Carlye discusses what she was told about the backstory as well as what she saw in both the land and the queues for both Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. She tells the boys about walking into the land, how different the various sections are, the massive 100-110 foot Millennium Falcon, and how great the music is played by RX-24 (“Rex”).
