This Steiff Mickey is the Perfect Baby Gift

We came across the plush Mickey the Germany pavilion at Epcot. Mickey holding a teddy (that’s not Duffy)!

An official Steiff item, you can tell by the yellow ear tag, he’s made with German craftsmanship and comes with a price tag that reflects this – $80. While that’s a lot for a small plush, consider this to be the kind of thing that could be a family heirloom or a child’s faithful friend that will withstand a lifetime of love. It’s the perfect plush for a baby gift that you want to last.

I had the opportunity to visit the Steiff factory in Germany a few years ago as an excursion on an Adventures by Disney trip. Seeing the workmanship up close was a real treat, as was seeing a few examples of the company’s long history of partnering with Disney. These Jungle Book plush were still in great shape 50 years after they were made.
