This year has been huge at Universal Orlando Resort with a brand new theme park, three new hotels, upgraded events, and new menu options. And trust us, you don’t open a new theme park every year! Our intrepid readers and subscribers have submitted hundreds of reviews of the attractions at Universal Orlando, and in this article, we’ll go over your top ten from this year.

1) Hagrid’s Magical Creature Motorbike Adventure
Rating: 4.79

The reigning best Universal Orlando attraction reclaims its title for another year! Hagrid’s Magical Creature Motorbike Adventure is your favorite Universal Orlando attraction of 2025 for its amazing launches, fun layout, and unique motorbike restraints. Plus, this year, Hagrid finally added Express Pass access to the attraction. This makes the attraction more accessible to folks with the perk.

2) Jurassic World VelociCoaster
Rating: 4.78

The number two attraction is located next door to Hagrid and is another coaster. That’s right, the skyline-defining Jurassic World VelociCoaster is your second-favorite attraction of 2025. This high-intensity launched coaster through a raptor paddock packs a punch with four inversions, including the iconic Mososarus Roll over the water of the Islands of Adventure lagoon.

3) Krakatau Water Coaster
Rating: 4.78

The third highest rated attraction is found in Volcano Bay with the hybrid water slide and coaster Krakatau Water Coaster. Guests board rafts of four that travel through twisting tubes and, unlike traditional water slides, accelerate up hills using magnets. This creates a water slide that includes dramatic drops and hills unlike any other in the park.

4) TeAwa The Fearless River
Rating: 4.75

What if you took a lazy river and added a wave machine to it? TeAwa answers that question with “a lot of fun”. This meandering river snakes its way through the back portion of Volcano Bay with periodic sections including a wave machine. At set intervals the wave machine goes off, sending a wave of water that tosses and turns guests down the river. It’s equal parts exhilarating and disorienting if you can hold onto your

5) Stardust Racers
Rating: 4.72

The first Epic Universe ride on our list is the airtime-filled coaster Stardust Racers in Celestial Park. Harnessing the technology of a fellow traveler, we’re able to strap into a train and experience a wild ride through the cosmos as two coaster cars dive over and around each other. The highlight of the ride is an incredible inverting maneuver called the Celestial Spin that places you feet away from the other train. Plus the ride features a killer daytime and nighttime on-ride soundtrack.

6) Hiccup’s Wing Gliders
Rating: 4.57

Hiccup is building a bunch of flying contraptions, but Toothless has other ideas. On Hiccup’s Wing Gliders guests board a nearly complete glider, but Toothless decides to launch it early before our wings are installed. Soon, we find ourselves skimming the treetops of Berk. The coaster is a huge hit with families as its a fun and smooth coaster that avoids the big hills for sweeping turns.

7) CineSational
Rating: 4.54

Universal went from having some of the weakest nighttime offerings at the parks to arguably the best nighttime spectacular in Orlando. CineSational is a celebration of the music of the movies, such as Harry Potter, The Super Mario Movie, Back to the Future, and many more. The show is a technical tour de force that combines synchronized dancing fountains, fireworks, LED drones, lasers, and water screens to wow guests.

8) Universal Horror Make-Up Show
Rating: 4.52

The cult classic show Horror Make-Up Show is finally getting its well-earned recognition from our readers! Horror Make-Up Show is an informational and comedic show that explains the history of horror make-up effects, from chocolate sauce blood to physical mechanical effects. The show is kept fresh and breezy thanks to a gifted cast of comedic talent that has some of the strongest improv chops this side of Chicago.

9) Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment
Rating: 4.51

Ranking number nine is my newest favorite attraction in Monsters Unchained. Located deep in Darkmoore, in the old Frankenstein Castle, this attraction takes us deep into the catacombs of the land as we find Victoria and her monster attempting to control all the monsters. The only problem? Dracula *smashes equipment*! Something goes horribly wrong, and we’re thrust face to face with monsters of all shapes and sizes, including Dracula, the Phantom of the Opera, Hunkback of Notre Dame, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, the Mummy, the Wolfman, and many more!

10) Harry Potter & The Escape From Gringotts
Rating: 4.49

Attractions that featured the Harry Potter main three were a sure thing for many years. This year, the highest rated attraction featuring Harry, Hermione, and Ron only reaches the tenth spot, and it’s not even the new one! Gringotts takes guests deep into the caves of Gringotts Bank on a tour to open a new account… on the day that the main three attempt their famous break-in from Deathly Hollows. Of course, we’re thrown face-to-face with trolls and even Voldemort himself!
