10 Things We learned Tonight about the New Disney Believe
Tonight, we got more details on the Disney Believe! We already knew the Grand Hall statue is Moana, the stern is Buzz and Woody, and Tinker Bell is on the bow. With a theme of “Promise and Possibilities”, that really left a lot of possibilities for the rest of the interior, and I’ve had a lot of questions about how it would all come together and when! Well, tonight, some of those questions were answered.
1. Maiden Voyage – First off, we have a maiden voyage date! I have been hoping with every fiber of my being that it would not be a Christmas maiden voyage like the Treasure. And thank goodness – it isn’t. By a tiny bit! The Maiden Voyage of the Believe will be December 18, 2027.
2. Home Port and Itineraries – It seemed likely that the Believe would sail from Fort Lauderdale, considering the Destiny was heading to Port Canaveral at the end of 2027, leaving an open slot for the Believe to fill. That’s what it’s going to do! The Believe will sail 4- and 5-night Bahamian and Caribbean itineraries out of Fort Lauderdale.

3. Same Things are the Same – Not surprisingly, the things that stayed the same on the first three Wish-class ships – Marvel and 1923 Main Dining Rooms, Seas the Adventure show, etc. are staying the same on the Believe.
4. Headliner Show – The biggest question marks out there for me were the new headliner show and the dinner show. On the Believe, the headliner show is – Disney Encanto! I think that’s a great choice! Considering the popularity of the soundtrack, I’m sure that will make a lot of people very happy. An updated version of Tangled will be the second show onboard. I’m guessing Seas the Adventure from the other Wish-class ships will be the third show.

5. New Dinner Show – The dinner show, however, may not make people as happy? The Disney Believe is going back to Arendelle for the dinner show with an updated version called Oaken’s Table. I knew Frozen was prominently featured in the teasers, but I didn’t think they would redo a restaurant that hasn’t been overly well received. Color me surprised by this choice.

6. New Piano Bar – As for the piano bar, which is currently Nightingale’s on the Wish, Scat Cat on the Treasure, and De Vil’s on the Destiny, it’s Sea Notes on the Believe! A Little Mermaid-themed lounge!
7. New Open Family Lounge – The lounge located in the middle of Deck 3 on the Wish-class ships that hosts live music and several family activities during the day will be themed after Snow White, called Wishing Well. This lounge has been very well done in every iteration – The Bayou on the Wish, Skipper Society on the Treasure, and Sanctum on the Destiny. I expect nothing less from Wishing Well. I’m guessing it will be very similar to Spellbound Lounge on the Disney Adventure, which is great!
8. New Pub/Sports Bar – On the first Wish-class ships, the sports bar/pub is Keg & Compass on the Wish, Periscope Pub on the Treasure, and Cask and Cannon on the Destiny. On the Believe, it will be called Stargazers. Disney calls it a magical observatory-themed pub with nods to classic Disney stories.

9. New Two Story Lounge – While Luna on the Wish, Sarabi on the Treasure, and Saga on the Destiny are used for several family activities during the day, the two-story spaces really come alive at night when the adults take over. On the Believe it will be called Gazelle and inspired by Zootopia.

10. Final Round Up – We also learned the coffee shops on decks 4 and 5 are called Big Hero Sips and Cafe KakaMora, inspired by Baymax and Moana respectively, and the sweet shop will be called Inside Out Joyful Sweets and themed after Inside Out 2. Stateroom themes include Beauty and the Beast, Moana, Coco, Zootopia, and Toy Story. The theme for the tower suite is Magic Kingdom! Love that.
