Len’s Live Chat with The Washington Post – This Thursday!

Does a Disney vacation have to be so expensive? That’s the topic at hand during The Washington Post’s live chat this Thursday, November 6th at noon Eastern time. TouringPlans founder and president, Len Testa, will be participating in the chat alongside AJ Wolfe of Disney Food Blog.

If you’re a regular listener to the Disney Dish Podcast, you know that Len talks about the cost of Disney vacations often.  This live chat is a great way to ask him your questions about ticket prices, Lightning Lane value, the cost of future Dining Plan changes, or anything else that concerns your Disney dollars. On the most recent episode of the Dish, Len broke down the value of an EPCOT day ticket vs. an After Hours ticket, and gave his opinion on staying offsite to save a few dollars. Please note that the “No Negative November” rule does not apply to this live chat. We thank you for your understanding.

Main Street U.S.A. may be our happy place, but it’s costing more and more to access that happiness. Len and TouringPlans are always looking for new ways to spend less money and less time in line. If that’s your goal too, then please join Len and the folks from The Washington Post this Thursday. Do you have questions you’d like him to address? You can submit them here. (This is also where you’ll find the chat link when it’s time.) We encourage you to submit your questions as soon as possible so they can be reviewed by the moderators and make it into the chat.

The live chat on Thursday will be led by three hosts from The Washington Post:

Hannah Sampson, Disney nerd and a staff writer at The Washington Post.

Becky Krystal, the recipes editor for Washington Post Food & the person to ask if you have questions about the perfect Youngstown cookie table star, or how to make the best Indian Bundt cake.

Alexandra Pannoni, The Washington Post’s newsroom talent and community editor, who received a Webby award for social news and politics in 2023.

We look forward to hearing your questions on the live chat!

P.S. If someone is keeping track, please document this as Reason 487 that TouringPlans will never be on a Disney PR invite list. Thanks, Len.
