New Castle Painting and Hollywood Studios Construction Photos
The rain stopped, the clouds cleared, and we took a lap around the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios to check on some of the construction projects in progress.

There are walls around the back of Cinderella Castle near Sir Mickey’s. The walls are housing cranes that are being used for the Castle repaint. You can see from the image above that the new blue paint on the roof of Sir Mickey’s is in progress. The patches of “incomplete” paint are obvious from this shot.

The moat is still drained and work continues ahead of a very busy May in Walt Disney World. Read all about what’s coming up right here.

A closer look at the paint and patterns on the front of the castle.

We love the gold detail on this shot. We can’t wait to see all of the new Cinderella Castle merch that hits the parks when the repaint is complete. Our “pink Castle” stuff will be vintage, right? Off to Hollywood…

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets isn’t set to reopen until this summer, but the archway car detailing is coming along. The paint is still flat, but we’ve got time to see more updates.

The guitar remains covered as you can see from the image above. Let’s see what’s happening in Monstropolis..

The old Muppet clock tower is now covered and construction seems to be full steam ahead. An opening date hasn’t been announced for this new land, but we’re still a long way out.

The future home of The Magic of Disney Animation is all boarded up right now, but this space will be open on May 26th! Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! (left in the photo above) opens May 26th, too, and we will be there to show you everything.
