The next few weeks of questions come from the TouringPlans Universal Orlando Lines App chat. To have your questions answered leave a message in the comments below or check out the Lines App.

This week’s question comes from PrincipalTinker from the UO Lines App:

I have heard about the “Mummy Tour”. How does this work? Are there other attraction tours? Where do you sign up? Cost?

Free attraction tours are one of the coolest hidden features of the Universal parks. Guests get to access usually inaccessible areas of the attraction to see hidden features, learn about the attraction, and take unique photos.

There are three tours based on Team Member availability: Men in Black’s “Immigration Tour”, Revenge of the Mummy’s “Production Tour”, and Hard Rock Cafe’s VIBE Tour. Ask the Team Member at the stand-by entrance of the attraction or host stand if a tour is available.

Revenge of the Mummy Production Tour features information on the queue props, preshow videos, and an exploration of the maintenance area of the attraction. Guests can see vehicles run through the various show scenes in the attraction and learn about how the coaster operates.

Men in Black Immigration Tour takes guests down into the immigration offices featured in the queue of the attraction. Here you can sit in the chairs, pose with props, and sign an official guest log (if you can find it).

With the Hard Rock Cafe VIBE Tour a Team Member guides guests around the Hard Rock Cafe to learn about the rock memorabilia displayed at the cafe. The tour ends in the John Lennon Room which features items from the legend’s life.

Tours last roughly 30 minutes to an hour. All tours are at the discretion of Team Members of the attraction.
