Concerts are Universal with Mardi Gras performances this weekend by Jessie J and BUSH and Hard Rock Hotel’s Velvet Sessions returns with a concert by Sebastian Bach. Plus dates for Holidays at Universal Orlando are announced!

Inclement weather in the northeastern United States will affect travel schedules, so plan accordingly.

Park Hours and Admission

CityWalk is open until 2:00 a.m. with free self parking starting after 6:00 p.m.

Single-day park tickets are at Anytime pricing this week. Single-day base tickets to Universal Studios Florida or Islands of Adventure are $124 per adult and $119 per child (plus tax). Two-day, two-park tickets are $265.99 per adult and $254.99 per child (plus tax).

Volcano Bay tickets are at Anytime pricing at $80 per adult and $75 per child (plus tax).

Universal Holidays Return

Last Christmas Universal gave you Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, and Grinchmas. The very next day they took it away, but this year they’ll give us something special as Holidays at Universal Orlando returns November 17, 2018 through January 6, 2019!

Universal Studios Florida holiday offerings feature Celestina Warbeck’s Christmas show, decorations in Diagon Alley, Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, and Mannheim Steamroller (on select weekends). At Islands of Adventure is the acclaimed Grinchmas show, decorations in Seuss Landing, The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle show, and decorations in Hogsmeade village. Entertainment is daily unless otherwise noted.

Upcoming Events & Highlights

Hard Rock Hotel’s Velvet Sessions returns Thursday, March 29 with a performance by Sebastian Bach. General admission tickets cost $35 plus tax and include appetizers, cocktails, valet parking, and the concert. The show is 21 and over and starts at 6:30 p.m.

Universal’s Mardi Gras returns nightly¬†February 3 through April 7. Catch a nightly Mardi Gras parade with Greek mythology-themed floats and a New Orleans carnival with food carts and a brass band. On select weekend nights the Music Plaza Stage will be host to major musical acts like The Beach Boys, Sean Paul, Macklemore, Fitz and the Tantrums, 311, Fifth Harmony, and more. Admission to Mardi Gras is included with standard admission to the parks.
