2025 Awards: Best Attractions at Disney World

As 2025 draws to a close, we have lots of data to review, and lots of recommendations to make for those of you considering 2026 Walt Disney World vacations. Over the next few days, I’ll be reviewing results from our post-visit surveys that we received this year, and helping you interpret what they should mean for your next vacation. Today we’re going over all of the satisfaction data from our attraction surveys. Which park has the highest-scoring attractions? Which attractions are the best overall? Or with a specific age group?

This serves as your obligatory reminder that the accuracy of these results fully depends on the number of people that are willing to fill out post-visit surveys after their Walt Disney World vacations. Make sure to submit your thoughts after your WDW vacations so that we can continue providing meaningful insights!

Overall Attraction Satisfaction

Which attractions have the highest satisfaction overall, across all parks and age categories? We have over 235,000 unique attraction ratings to work with, so we can get a pretty good idea. Each of these responses rates an attraction on a scale from 1 (very dissatisfied) to 5 (very satisfied). I can average all of the responses to get an overall rating for each attraction. Using that methodology, the winners for 2025 are:

  1. Kilimanjaro Safaris – 4.81
  2. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – 4.78
  3. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – 4.77
  4. Festival of the Lion King – 4.76
  5. Avatar Flight of Passage – 4.76

Our top 5 isn’t just attractions, which is different than last year (list found here). The biggest shift on the list is the drop of Flight of Passage from 1st place last year to 5th place this year. Comments mention the attraction – especially the video – showing its age. But there’s another big callout here too: three of the top five attractions are all found at Animal Kingdom! It’s the most-skipped, least-attended park, but it’s home to three incredibly high-quality attractions (and more).

Parks with Highest Attraction Satisfaction

  1. Hollywood Studios – 4.53 (4.42 last year)
  2. Animal Kingdom – 4.47 (4.33 last year)
  3. Magic Kingdom – 4.34 (4.23 last year)
  4. EPCOT – 4.29 (4.16 last year)

If we take all of the surveys from each park and average them all together, we can get idea of just how impressive the attraction slate is for each park as a whole. And we have SO many surveys that none of the confidence intervals overlap for any of these parks. This is statistically a reliable ranking.

Hollywood Studios should be no surprise in the top spot. It’s got 1 out of the top 5 attractions, and many other popular and high-satisfaction attractions too. But you’ll “pay” for that popularity with high wait times unless you go into your Studios day with a solid strategy.

Animal Kingdom may come as a surprise in 2nd place, but its satisfaction scores have been buoyed by the closure of low-rated attractions like It’s Tough To Be a Bug and TriceraTop Spin. For the low-rated attractions that do still exist (looking at you, Dinosaur) … their time is coming to a close. Then you’ve got attractions like Kilimanjaro Safaris, Festival of the Lion King, and Flight of Passage that are the big draws and are at the very top of the satisfaction rankings.

Magic Kingdom and EPCOT fall to the bottom of our list, mostly due to a significant number of attractions that haven’t seen any love in a while (Imagination Pavilion) or have wait times that are too long for what you get (Barnstormer, Magic Carpets).

Full Rankings For Each Park

If you want to plan your upcoming WDW vacation around attractions that rate highly overall, here are the full results for each of the four theme parks. Remember that you can click on any image to open it in full size.

Hollywood Studios

Average satisfaction ratings for each attraction at Hollywood Studios with 50 or more ratings in 2025

I don’t think that there are any major surprises here. The biggest losers at Hollywood Studios used to be Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy and Star Wars Launch Bay and they’ve since closed. Now Alien Swirling Saucers gets the dubious distinction of being the only under-4 attraction at Hollywood Studios! No wonder the overall park score is so high.

It’s also interesting to note that both new shows (Disney Villains and The Little Mermaid) are both below average for the park. Meeting Chewbacca and Darth Vader were both above average, but have been displaced and their scores have gone slightly down in their new locations.

Animal Kingdom

Average satisfaction ratings for each attraction at Animal Kingdom with 50 or more ratings in 2025

There are clearly four big winners at Animal Kingdom – Kilimanjaro Safaris, Festival of the Lion King, Flight of Passage, and Expedition Everest. In fact, those are 4 out of the top 6 attractions in all of Walt Disney World. Like Hollywood Studios, it’s very rare for any attraction here to score under 4. Only Conservation Station and Affection Section do that. And they should soon see a positive bump once Bluey and Bingo take up residency!

Magic Kingdom

Average satisfaction ratings for each attraction at Magic Kingdom with 50 or more ratings in 2025

There are a clear top two at Magic Kingdom – the castle itself (hard to miss if you just walk into the park, so that’s good), and the nighttime fireworks. Casey’s Corner Pianist and the Dapper Dans both breaking the top 6 is incredibly interesting – and encouraging! More investment in live entertainment, please! The top rides at Magic Kingdom are Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Tron Lightcycle/Run, so long lines and LLSP are obviously happening at the right places. Next up are The Haunted Mansion and the PeopleMover!

Things start falling pretty rapidly once you get below a 4.0 rating. If you knew absolutely nothing about the Magic Kingdom, it would be pretty safe to assume that you could skip those attractions on your first visit.

EPCOT

Average satisfaction ratings for each attraction at EPCOT with 50 or more ratings in 2025

The good news is, EPCOT is less frustrating now that all of the walls are down. The bad news is, it is still frustrating. Unfortunately, the new version of Test Track that debuted this year scores well below its predecessor, barely above average for the park. And the Imagination Pavilion is crying out for some attention – surely we can give Figment the attention he deserves with a nice re-Imagining!

It’s also very very important to note that Impressions de France scores so much higher than the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along. Another good sign that Disney should make some changes and allow Impressions to show during the day again. We can dream.

Best Attractions by Age Group

The makeup of your travelling party heavily impacts what your group will enjoy, and so it’s more important to understand what specific age groups enjoy than to just go with overall winners! As a note – these lists specifically avoid seasonal offerings so that they’re easier to digest and apply for everyone.

Preschool

  1. Adventurers Outpost – 4.96
  2. Meet Princess Tiana – 4.9
  3. Red Carpet Dreams – 4.87
  4. Tie! Meet Beloved Disney Pals and Meet Cinderella – 4.86

It’s a clean sweep! Every one of the top five attractions for preschoolers in 2025 was a character meet. We’ve got the Mickey meet and greet at three parks (AK in the top spot, then HS at number three and EPCOT at number 4). Spoiler alert: the MK Mickey greet is in 7th place overall for preschoolers. And then the Fairytale Hall meets both make the top five as well.

This makes it very easy to plan a trip with preschoolers. Focus on characters, and you should be alright.

Grade School

  1. Red Carpet Dreams – 4.84
  2. Adventurers Outpost – 4.83
  3. Slinky Dog Dash – 4.82
  4. Tie! Meet Cinderella and Rise of the Resistance – 4.81

The grade school rankings are very different than what we saw last year. Characters stay strong, similar to preschoolers, with Mickey and Minnie taking the top two spots. But Slinky Dog Dash and Rise of the Resistance sneak onto the list, so the grade school set likes some big kid thrill mixed in with their character time.

Teenage

  1. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – 4.94
  2. Expedition Everest – 4.87
  3. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – 4.83
  4. Avatar Flight of Passage – 4.82
  5. Rock’n’Roller Coaster – 4.80

Overall, teens get a bad rap for being hard to please. But they know what they like, and will rate it accordingly. Of course, there are a lot of attractions that they love to hate too. Teenagers see the least year-over-year turnover of the non-adult crowd, since 4 out of their top 5 are repeats from last year. Tower of Terror is the only attraction that dropped out, and it was replaced with its neighbor, Rock’n’Roller Coaster, instead. But Tower of Terror is right behind in 6th place with a score of 4.79. So close!

Young Adult

  1. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – 4.96
  2. Savi’s Workshop – 4.93
  3. Expedition Everest – 4.88
  4. Tower of Terror – 4.87
  5. Avatar Flight of Passage – 4.86

Young adults fall between those teen years and the ripe old age of 30. Savi’s Workshop fell out of the top five for this age group last year, but came roaring back this year, all the way to second place. If you’ve got the disposable income (and I guess you must, if you’re at Disney), it seems to be a reliably great experience. Rise of the Resistance also barely missed the top five, coming in seventh place, just behind Kilimanjaro Safaris.

Over Thirty

  1. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – 4.84
  2. Kilimanjaro Safaris – 4.83
  3. Expedition Everest – 4.81
  4. Voices of Liberty – 4.79
  5. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – 4.78

This used to be one of the most reliable top five lists of the bunch, but we finally have a new entry! The Voices of Liberty crack the top five for the first time, and it’s well-deserved. If you haven’t made the Voices of Liberty a part of your EPCOT day, you really should take the time to listen.

Over 65

  1. Festival of the Lion King – 4.88
  2. Kilimanjaro Safaris – 4.87
  3. Voices of Liberty – 4.85
  4. Mariachi Cobre – 4.83
  5. Dapper Dans – 4.79

Like last year, the Over 65 crowd is much more impressed by entertainment than by rides. The top ride isn’t even until 8th place (Rise of the Resistance). Good thing there are so many high-quality shows and live musical acts all throughout Walt Disney World!

What Does This Mean For You?

  1. Everyone has different opinions and preferences. My favorite attractions won’t be the same as yours, but breaking things down into age groups gets us a little closer.
  2. When planning your WDW vacation, use things like attractions lists and satisfaction scores to help you decide how much time to spend in each park so that you give your party the best chance to have an enjoyable trip.
  3. If we want to generalize, prioritize characters for preschoolers, thrill for teens, and relaxing journeys for seniors. And if you’re a party of just adults, go for the headliners.

Did any of the 2025 winners surprise you? Would you have ranked anything differently? Is there an attraction you’re most looking forward to experiencing in 2026? Let me know in the comments!
