Get Your Ears On – A Mickey and Minnie Celebration To Debut at Disneyland

Disneyland is ready to celebrate Mickey and Minnie’s 90th birthdays in style with the Get Your Ears On – A Mickey and Minnie Celebration!

Kicking off the party on January 18 will be the new projection show, Mickey’s Mix Magic. This nighttime show will light up Disneyland Park and will celebrate all things Mickey Mouse. This nightly extravaganza will create a dance party throughout the park, with “DJ” Mickey spinning the new celebration song, “It’s a Good Time” along with new takes on favorite Disney songs, including “I Wanna Be Like You”, “Ev’rybody Wants to Be a Cat”, “Friend Like Me”, “Grim Grinning Ghosts”, “Un Poco Loco” and “Let It Go”.

Guests will be able to catch this show on Main Street, U.S.A., the façade of “it’s a small world” and beginning in March, the water screens of the Rivers of America. Each viewing area in the park will feature a custom projection design, which makes for a unique show experience wherever guests are.  Oh and on select nights, Mickey’s Mix Magic will be enhanced with the addition of fireworks.

Then, beginning January 25, the fan favorite, Mickey’s Soundsational Parade will return to Disneyland. This popular daytime parade puts music in motion with Disney characters, performers and will feature two new parade floats. During the new opening, Mickey leads the way with a giant celebration cake accompanied by Chip ‘n’ Dale.

Also beginning on January 25 will be the “Get Your Ears On” Celebration Dance Party which will take place each evening at Tomorrowland Terrace. Guests of all ages will be able to move and groove with some of their favorite Disney characters, dancing to the celebration song, “It’s a Good Time,” along with other popular Disney tunes.

Finally, to celebrate Valentine’s Month, from January 22 through February 18, Disneyland Resort will celebrate the love of Minnie and Mickey. As guests enter Disneyland, they will find a new Mickey Mouse flower “portrait,” and festive Valentine’s décor all along Main Street, U.S.A. and at Small World Mall.

During Valentine’s month, guests may also choose to partake in Minnie’s Valentine Surprise, a special scavenger hunt experience in Disneyland. Once guests have purchased a commemorative map and stickers at select merchandise locations, they may search for the hidden valentines that Minnie has left for Mickey around the park. Upon completion, they return their map to a designated location to redeem a special Valentine’s surprise.

Of course, this new celebration will feature lots of great food and berage options including, a Celebration Sipper & Straw, Mickey and Minnie chocolate caramel apples, Mickey macarons, Mickey popcorn buckets, Mickey pretzels and waffles, specialty desserts, and more.

You also won’t want to miss meeting Mickey and Minnie in their adorable celebration outfits and catch the monorail with a special 90th birthday wrap!
