Save The Date For One More Disney Day At Walt Disney World and Disneyland on February 29
On February 29, 2012, both Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom and Disneyland in Anaheim will be open for 24 hours. Guests can enjoy these parks from 6am until 6am the following day, March 1. If you are going to be in the parks those days, keep a look out for details of the events that TouringPlans.com will be hosting. While we are still waiting for more scheduling announcements from Disney before we finalize plans, we want to make sure that YOU know we are organizing some fun stuff and are planning to join us! Hope to see you there!
Will you be in either Magic Kingdom or Disneyland on February 29? What are you the most excited about? What fun things would you like to see us do?
Our family will be at MK. We always go for my daughter’s birthday (Feb 29th). Depending how you count she will be either 4 or 16. On her previous 3 birthdays she helped open the park. Not sure of our strategy for the day yet. We may go for one ride only for the day.
We will need a caffination event starting at about 3 or 4 am.
We will be there, look forward to participating if you have events. We always buy a new book each year!!
I planned a trip when I found out. I am flying in the morning of Feb. 29. There will be no kids, so I am really looking forward to the trip.
I am looking forward to seeing what the Touring Plans events.
As for what I’d like to see/do with the TouringPlans team (at the MK), a People Mover event, a Dole Whip event, fill one or more boats on Jungle Cruise/Pirates/small world. Fill the theatre for Tiki Room and Country Bears along with a sing-a-long.
Oh, and a flash mob dance on the Liberty Belle Riverboat! 😉
Wouldn’t and couldn’t miss it! I won’t be there for all 24hours, but plan on coming and going all day and night!
I’ll be there! I was actually going to see if there was any way those of you who are in the parks in the next couple weeks could map out where the outlets are to charge phones/cameras and whatnot so I don’t have to waste time running around trying to find one, heh.
I’ll be at DCA from 10a-1pm and DL from 1pm-6am before heading to the airport to go home after arriving the night before.
Can’t wait for 12 hours of night at DL.
I’m flying in to enjoy this event with my sister! We are planning to take a break to Epcot for dinner (ADR at Le Cellier!) but will be back at Magic Kingdom until we drop.
I’ll be there! Can’t wait to see what is happening that day. Going to attempt to ride/visit every open attraction.
Will be there with my 23 year old daughter. My birthday is on March 1, and I plan to be riding Splash Mountain as the clock strikes midnight…
Will be there, looking forward to all events
Can’t wait for Leap Day! Unfortunately I can’t stay for the full day (first day of class, and I still don’t know my work schedule) but I should be able to make rope drop! Looking forward to meet-ups throughout the day. I’ll also be posting on twitter, Facebook, and Lines chat 🙂
I will be there and looking forward to meeting you all!!!!
I can’t wait to hear about Touring Plans’ events for the week! I’ll absolutely be planning to attend!
In addition, my website, Mouse on the Mind, will be hosting Leap Day Live Blog, and we’re looking for contributors. Anyone who’ll be in the Parks that day is welcome to sign up to join in the fun!
We’ll also be hosting a meet the evening before Leap Day at 6:30 p.m. in Epcot’s UK Pavilion in front of the grandstand.
More details about both the meet and live blog are available on MouseontheMind.com.
