Splitsville Luxury Lanes to Reopen at Disney Springs This Week
Guests who are looking to have a striking good time (I’m sorry….I had to) can once again, beginning on July 10, visit Splitsville Luxury Lanes in the West Side at Disney Springs. For those who don’t know, Splitsville offers 50,000 square feet of bowling, billiards, bars and live entertainment.
The location shared that they have taken great measures to engage and serve Guests safely; from social distancing, to single-use menus, to sanitized gaming. They shared this video to showcase how they are making sure that our safety is at the forefront:

Splitsville’s operating hours will be Monday – Friday: 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm and Saturday – Sunday: noon – 9:00 pm.
Guests will be able to make bowling reservations here and dining reservations here.

Thousands of Cast Members agree and have petitioned management to rethink this. Opening soon, not opening, fits and starts, cancel and re-book, no parades, fireworks, etc. and charge guests the same high prices…all while Florida COVID-19 cases spike. And please wear a mask and practice social distancing at the Happiest (and most-crowded) Place on Earth! This is no way to flatten the curve.
Not sure what seems grosser right now; a bowling ball with dirty/contaminated finger holes, or a bowling ball with wet fingerholes full of sanitizing spray.
Reopening a bowling alley as Florida emerges as one of the *worst COVID hotspots on the planet* just feels like an insult to public health efforts.
