More Info About The California Grill’s Refurbishment

As many of you know, California Grill at the top of Walt Disney World’s Contemporary Resort is in the midst of a very large scale refurbishment, and we’ve been keeping you updated as the work has progressed. We’ve already given you a look at the decor, as well as what some of the new menu items will be when the restaurant opens back up.

Recently, while I myself was at Walt Disney World, Disney revealed some of the new dessert options that guests will be able to partake in. These include banana fritters, chocolate pudding cake, and a lemon cheesecake. Perhaps one of the most intriguing options is the Sundae Sampler, which will include a caramel corn sundae, a Coke float, and a strawberry sundae.

No date has been announced as of yet for an official grand reopening; however, the restaurant is slated to reopen in the fall (the exact date is unknown). As you can see, things most certainly seem to be moving towards delicious!
