Universal Translator – What are Pizza Fries?

Peanut butter and jelly. Macaroni and cheese. Oysters and hot sauce. Some food pairings just work, and this week we look at Universal’s unique paring of pizza and french fries in this Universal Translator.

Pizza Fries are a large snack available at Universal Studios Florida that combines crinkle cut french fries with classic pizza toppings. The fries are served in an aluminium foil pan ontop of a bed of marana sauce and topped with pepperoni, sausage, mozzarella cheese, and Italian seasoning. It tastes just like a pizza, but in a poutine like form. Pizza Fries debuted at Halloween Horror Nights 27 in 2017 and quickly became a fan favorite with Pizza Fries now available daily at the DreamWorks Imagination Cafe and a tater-tot variant at Green Eggs & Ham in Islands of Adventure.
