BDX Droids Have Arrived in Hollywood Studios

Earlier this year, Disney announced that the BDX droids would be embarking on a world tour. After their debut at Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland, they had moved to Tokyo Disneyland and would soon head to Disney World and later Disneyland Paris. But there were no dates. Fast forward to today, and they have arrived at Disney World! The droids were spotted at Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios, and will be making appearances through August 30, 2025.

The BDX droids first appeared in the parks last year during Disneyland’s Season of the Force. They’re interactive, highly expressive, and can give Grogu a run for his money on the cuteness scale. If you’re visiting Disney World in the next six weeks before they depart, check the map tab in the My Disney Experience app and tap Characters, then filter to Hollywood Studios to find out when and where they’re scheduled to appear on the day you’re there.

Based on today’s times, you can expect 6-7 appearances throughout the day. But the droids are not weatherproof and will be whisked out of the rain should it begin to fall, so keep an eye on the forecast when planning your day.

ICYMI: July and August are shaping up to be a great time to visit. (We don’t talk about the heat, right? It’s like Bruno?) Weather notwithstanding, the Starlight Parade debuts on July 20, Test Track reopens on July 22, and now we’ve got the droids!
