Hollywood Studios Early Entry Testing
We tested Early Entry rope drop at Hollywood Studios this week. Our tester was able to get on four major attractions in 59 minutes using Early Entry on a Crowd Level 2 day with no Lightning Lanes. Here is a timeline:
Tuesday, December 2, 2025
Early Entry: 8:30am – 9:00am
Regular Entry Hours: 9:00am – 9:00pm
Lightning Lane Multi Pass was $27.00 per person + tax = $28.76. We did not purchase Lightning Lane.

7:30am – Parking open to all guests. Disney Resort buses and the Skyliner were both already running and dropping guests.
7:57am – Main gates open to all guests. All guests are able to enter the park when it opens but, just like the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Animal Kingdom, – only guest with the Early Theme Park Entry benefit are able to tap in at attractions before regular park entry.

8:06am- In line for Slinky Dog Dash. The ride was up and running as our tester entered the queue. Remember to start your Lines App timer when you stop walking in an open queue.
8:12am – Board Slinky Dog Dash. Actual wait submitted to the Lines app = 5 minutes. Remember to stop your time when you’re about to get on the ride vehicle. This is the same even if there are pre-shows like Guardians of the Galaxy and Millennium Falcon.

8:17am– Cross the Toy Story Land courtyard to Toy Story Mania. The posted wait was 5 minutes but we didn’t stop walking through the queue until just before it was time to board. Actual wait submitted to the Liens app = no wait.
Early Entry has not officially started yet! Head for Sunset and Tower of Terror

8:35am – Scan in for Early Entry with the Cast Members standing in front of the Tower of Terror entrance.
8:43am – Board service elevator. Actual wait submitted to the Lines app = 6 minutes.
Exit Tower of Terror and head for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
8:54am – Six minutes before Early Entry ends and regular entry begins.

8:56am – Board limo. Actual wait time submitted to the Lines app = 5 minutes.

Our tester was able to get on four major attractions in 59 minutes using Early Entry on a Crowd Level 2 day with no Lightning Lanes. Our Crowd Calendar predicted a Crowd Level 3 for Hollywood Studios on December 2, 2025, and the actual Crowd Level observed was a 2. TouringPlans Subscribers have access to our rolling 12-month Crowd Calendar.
Let us know if there is a specific Park / Day scenario you’d like for us to test next.
