American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts Perks

Attention American Express Platinum Card Members! Did you know that American Express offers Fine Hotels + Resort Perks for some Orlando area resorts?

The image above captures the general terms of the Fine Hotels + Resort Perks benefits, but they vary by eligible property, so you’ll need to login to your account for specifics. We’ve done a bit of research on resorts closest to Walt Disney World to see what they offer.

Although only the Swan Reserve is shown in the image above, the same benefits apply to eligible stays at the Swan and Dolphin Resorts, too. These three resorts are just a short walk from EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. While the Swan and Dolphin have available quick service dining, they are also just a few minutes walk from Disney’s BoardWalk. The BoardWalk Deli has a really great Warm Corned Beef Reuben (and your choice of side) for $15.19 and we have never once finished it alone. Between this fantastic sandwich and the proximity to The Cake Bake Shop Bakery two doors down, you’ll need the walk anyway. All three resorts offer bus transportation to the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, too. Schedules are posted on their app and can be found in the lobby of each resort.

You’ll notice that the $150 property credit listed for the Swan and Dolphin trio of resorts is more than the $100 experience credit mentioned in the general terms. Things like free Wi-Fi and upgrades will vary by property as well.

The Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World has different terms, including daily breakfast for two and guaranteed 4:00pm check-out. That late check-out time is perfect for squeezing in a few extra hours at a park.
