Minnie, Daisy, Donald, and Goofy Find a Temporary Home in the Magic Kingdom

This whole “Magic Kingdom Construction” thing should really be a series by now. Today’s edition is all about where to find the displaced characters usually found in this side of Fantasyland.

Pete’s Silly Side Show in Storybook Circus has been closed for renovations since January 4th of this year. This is the usual circus themed meet and greet location for Donald, Goofy, Daisy, and Minnie.

Disney’s website shows that the Daring Disney Pals (Donald and Goofy) and the Dashing Disney Pals (Daisy and Minnie) will be greeting guests in Storybook Circus. Their meeting spots have changed a bit since more walls have gone up around Big Top Souvenirs. The merchandise location closed for refurbishment on February 20th and Disney has the reopening date as “later this year.”

Dumbo, The Barnstormer, and the Fantasyland Railroad remain open. The Railroad is only running as a shuttle between the Fantasyland stop and Main Street while Big Thunder Mountain is under construction. Casey Jr. Splash ‘n’ Soak Station is also open and will only get more popular as the days get warmer.

Note the pink star on the right of the image above. This is where Storybook Circus friends have been appearing recently.

There are no posted meeting times and we have seen the characters appear in mixed groups like you’ll note in the picture above. Goofy typically meets with Donald and Minnie and Daisy are usually together. We’ve seen characters swap out every 20-30 minutes or so and there is a PhotoPass Photographer available with the characters.

Since this isn’t an official character meet and greet and there are no set appearance times, we have removed this step from our TouringPlans. We will add this back in as soon as the new locations are open and times are released by Disney.

I think you should correct the title to include Daisy, not Mickey. The right names are in the article, just not in the title. Thanks!
